Late August I received my very own gold card which I was allowed to use from the 30th August, even although my birthday was not until the 11th September. Hence, on the 7th of September, I had a free train ride to Paraparaumu, met Peter and we had a very pleasant evening meal at the Mediterranean Warehouse of tomato pasta. I finished mine with a very large bowl of gelato whilst Peter was almost priggish refusing any gelato.
We parted ways for the evening, me to bookgroup in Alicetown, Peter home by gold bus. By the time I got home I was in a lot of pain in my right back and chest, and by 4am we had arrived in Emergency Department at Wellington Hospital. Morphine is a wonderful thing.
